Booking Terms and Conditions
FARES
All fares quoted are subject to reconfirmation at the time of reservation. Fares are subject to change without notice and can only be guaranteed when fully paid and TICKETED. Acceptance of deposit does not necessarily guarantee fare.
BOOKING
When you make an international flight/Cruise booking it is your responsibility to ensure that the booking name appears exactly as it does in your passport and we take no responsibility for names entered in any variation other than what is on your passport and in the same order.
Payment of deposits/ balances is required within the option dates advised. Failure to keep within in time limits may incur penalties or result in cancellation of bookings.
We have a right to accept or reject bookings at our discretion
FREQUENT FLYER
Adding your frequent flyer details to your booking does not indicate or guarantee that the elected fare is eligible for frequent flyer points or that the airline will award points for your flight.
TAXES
Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of minimum Nzd100 per person is required upon reservation. Full payment must be made and tickets must be issued within the time limit specified BY AIRLINES Some airlines fare conditions may require immediate payment and ticketing. Payment made by Credit Cards will be subjected to a surcharge of the total of the credit card transaction. Visa and Master card surcharge of 2.5% and. American Express surcharge of 4.5%.
AMENDMENTS
Deposits are non-refundable or transferable. If, after acceptance of the booking, the customer alters the confirmed arrangements, an amendment fee may apply per person plus any communication charges may be charged. If major alternation is required, the booking may be treated as a cancellation of which cancellation charge may also apply.
CANCELLATIONS
Clients who make cancellation on any confirmed booking will be liable for applicable cancellation charges. WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A REFUND TO YOU UNTIL WE RECEIVE THE FUNDS FROM THE RELEVANT SUPPLIER. Any refunds will be returned on the same card, same person(s) and same proportions as the original transaction. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets or other travel documents are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge in addition to any service fee your consultant charges.
NOSHOW
No refunds. If you didn't show up in the airport before the departure time, there will be no refund.
Schedule Changes
It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to travel to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed.
RECONFIRMATION
It is important that return reservations are reconfirmed with the airline at the destination after arrival and at least 3-5 days before departure. Failure to do may result in cancellation of you reservation. Check in time usually 3-4 hours before departure but please clarify locally.
DOMESTIC&ONWARD FLIGHTS
Please note we will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused due to re-schedule or cancellation of onward flight booking (on other carriers). Passengers must reconfirm their domestic or onward travel arrangements prior to or immediately on arrival with the domestic / onward airline in the country of destination.
FORCEMAJEURE
We shall not be responsible for the non performances of any part of the itinerary through causes beyond our control.
PASSPORT/VISA
All clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that they have valid passport and applicable visa and other relevant travel Documents for all sectors of the journeys. Clients who were rejected by the local immigration for any reason cannot claim refund or endorsement.
HEALTH
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We consider adequate Travel Insurance is essential. Details are available upon request only
AGENCY
TRAVELSHOP LIMITED acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line Operators. Travelshop s obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Travelshop Limited. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with Travelshop Limited.
LIABILITY
We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
CREDIT CARD
Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. In the event the payment has been made to Travelshop Limited by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Travelshop Limited.

GENERAL
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in New Zealand
We may change or modify all or any part of these terms and conditions by posting changes to www.travelshopnz.co.nz
I acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older, that the above travel details are correct and that I understand and agree with the above terms and conditions. I also agree that I have authority to bind all passengers I book on behalf of under the same terms and conditions.
